Bulkley River Steelhead

Thanks to Marty Hamhuis and my brother Dave for getting me out on the river today.   Used a jet boat and zipped up and down the river and hit a few spots.  Between the 3 of us we landed 5 steelhead and a few Dolly Varden.  Below is a pic of the second Steelhead that i caught…lucky Dave was close by to get a pic before releasing back to the river.

Big thanks to Marty for allowing me to fish this hole first and have some ‘Tight Lines’ for the first time this season.

How many do you see??

Momma was at the bottom of the tree and none to impressed – huffing and puffing – encouraging us to leave.  We took a couple pictures and left her alone with her cubs.
